Here to Stay Community Land Trust builds and rehabs homes and raises funds so we can lower their price to what’s affordable for income-qualified families. By removing homes from the market, forever, homes are permanently affordable.

Donate your home, property or a vacant lot

  • If your property is located outside of our target area: Avondale, Hermosa, Humboldt Park or Logan Square, we can sell it and use the proceeds to purchase in our target area.

If you are selling/planning to sell a property?

  • Donate a percentage of the sale—or
  • Pledge a percentage of your future sale—to Here to Stay CLT, Inc.

Include Here to Stay CLT in your will or trust.

Bequests and Planned Giving

Thank you for considering Here to Stay Community Land Trust as part of your estate planning—you can create a legacy of affordability! Planned giving offers many ways to support, and is possible for anyone, regardless of their means.

You can also name Here to Stay CLT as a beneficiary in a trust, life insurance policy or retirement account. You can also name us in a bequest to transfer your property to Here to Stay Community Land Trust upon your death. You retain all ownership rights to the property during your lifetime. This leaves a lasting legacy of stability for families far into the future.​
